I really like this Matcha face cream. It's thick and rich but goes on smoothly and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. I am able to use this in the morning and at night with no issues. I will also say both my cream containers were filled to the brim with product. Also, with this product, you don't need much due to its thicker nature, so it should last a good while. There is a soft scent to this cream, but nothing strong or overpowering. As for results, my skin looks great. It's hydrated and soft, exactly what I hope for in a moisturizer. Great product.
At this point I need to accept that velvente matcha has become a recurring expense. The cleanser started it by making me stop mid rinse because my skin looked suspiciously smoother. The toner pads encouraged me, then I tried this cream and discovered that, no, apparently the softly filtered face was not a one product incident. This cream is ridiculously hydrating. I have what I refer to as victorian heir skin, meaning dry, dehydration prone, sensitive skin that can look spiritually depleted because someone turned the heating on. this gives it that properly plump, cushioned feeling I want from a moisturiser without leaving me looking like I've been buttered for roasting. but it's the finish that keeps confusing me. once it settles, my skin looks softer, smoother, slightly blurred, genuinely a little filtered, not in the very obvious primer way where dimethicone has arrived with a construction crew and filled every available pore, my actual skin just looks... better. i have checked this in several lighting conditions because apparently i'm now conducting peer review on my own face. it's rich enough that i can use a generous layer at night when my skin is particularly dry, but it also behaves beautifully as a normal moisturiser. despite the richness, it doesn't feel like i'm preserving my face in cold cream until spring. the formula makes sense for why my skin likes it too. glycerin, shea butter, jojoba esters, camellia oil, betaine, green tea, soothing botanicals and sodium dna, basically a very convincing collection of things aimed at hydration and comfort rather than attempting to bully my skin into transformation. and you get two enormous jars. two. for $39. if you're new to my reviews, chai is currency, and a chai in nyc is roughly $10 because apparently tea, milk and cardamom now require household budgeting. this is about four chais for 7.06 ounces of cream. in my local chaiconomy, that is bordering on suspicious, especially considering how little i actually need each time and how long these jars are going to be staring back at me from the bathroom shelf. tldr: deeply hydrating, plush without being greasy, and somehow leaves my victorian heir skin looking softer, smoother and faintly filtered. two huge jars for about four chais. the velvente blur operation continues.
Very hydrating! If you are dry and thirsty, you will absolutely love this cream. Not sure on the anti aging befits. But I will order again, it's a great night cream!
This is a thick, pale green moisturizing lotion that comes in a jar. There's an anti-spill piece inside the lid that is not sealed shut, it's got a little tab to make it easy to lift out and it's reusable. The jars themselves are tightly shrink wrapped. It has a light, pleasing scent that doesn't linger on your skin after applying. It feels thick and rich, and takes a bit to soak all the way in, but after that, it feels really nice and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky. There's a QR code on the lid that says to scan before first use, but it just takes you to their website. Even if you don't use the first two steps in their skin care routine (this is step three of), it's nice on hands and face, and even my neck, even with my highly reactive, sensitive skin, this was great. No itching, no redness. It felt very soothing. I like this moisturizer and definitely recommend it.
I ordered the Matcha PDRN Korean Anti-Aging Firming Moisturizer Cream, 9-month supply, 7.06oz. By VELVENTE. The product arrived in a plastic baggie. Inside the baggie were two boxes each marked made in Korea. Each box contains a jar of 3.53 oz moisturizer. The mild weight white cream is scentless as far as I can tell. The cream rubs in clear and absorbs quickly, in less than a minute. After the cream absorbs in I am left with smooth and moisturized but not greasy feeling skin. I had no redness or irritation after use. I am pleased with this cream. I like that it is not heavy and not scented. I am excited to see my results after longer term use.

I ordered this VELVENTE Matcha PDRN Korean Anti-Aging Firming Moisturizer Cream because Velvente is a good vegan K-Beauty brand. They are known for their 3-step routine featuring Jeju matcha extract, plant-derived rose PDRN, and a soothing 'Blue Complex', this combination of ingredients focuses on gentle skin barrier repair, hydration, and calming redness for sensitive skin. I have dry and sensitive skin, so I felt this would be perfect for me, and I was right. This is a two-pack, which I am beyond thrilled with. While there were no safety seals on the boxes or jars, there was shrink-wrapping on the two boxes together. I like this cream so much that I am willing to overlook the lack of seals on the jars. Each jar does have a plastic sealing disc that keeps the cream contained and off the lid. I love the lime green theme. The light green color in the cream comes primarily from Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract (commonly known as neem leaf extract) and Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, combined with green botanical extracts like Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract. No artificial colors, yay! There is a very faint but super pleasant scent to this cream. The ingredients say 'Fragrance', which can sometimes irritate very sensitive or reactive skin. You may want to do a patch test if you think this is you. I have not had any issues! This cream is thick, luxurious, and oh so rich. My dry skin soaks it up and feels moisturized immediately. I also put it on my hands, and they feel plumper, too. I use this as the last step in my routine if I'm not going outside and don't require makeup or sunscreen. I also use this at night as a night cream. I always research the ingredients that I'm putting on my skin. I found that these are good, safe, and effective ingredients for a moisturizing face cream. The formula uses water and glycerin for hydration, shea butter and jojoba esters to lock in moisture, and soothing plant extracts like green tea and chamomile to calm the skin. An enclosed note has a QR code with a cryptic instruction to 'Discover the cream secret that locks it all in' and 'Learn the step most people miss'. The QR code leads to the Velvente website, which is well-developed and tells about all their other products. There are three steps: using their cleanser, their toner pads, and this cream. I bet the other products are just as good as this one. I love this cream and am so happy I have two jars to use up. My skin is very happy right now. I have not used this for the recommended 14 days yet, but I plan on continuing to see if my skin is firmer and if some age spots have faded. I think the price of $39 for two jars at the time of my review is a good value.
I just discovered this brand, and I love its products. This cream is one of my favourites, very hydrating, smooth and nice fragrance. It gives a refreshing feeling. I'll buy more.

This matcha facial moisturizer consistently has been a great fit for my sensitive skin, especially when redness and dryness flare up. The texture feels very much like what I expect from Korean skincare, lightweight, smooth, and quick to absorb without leaving a greasy finish. After regular use my skin looks brighter and more even, and areas that stay red and better hydrated. The formula includes matcha, which feels soothing, and PDRN, which was curious about and found to be gentle and non irritating on my skin. It works well under other products and during the day, though those with very dry skin at night may want something heavier on top. Overall it has helped my skin look healthier and more balanced without causing sensitivity.
The cream has a nice texture. It's thicker than expected, but it still feels lightweight on the skin. It feels a little greasy until it's absorbed, but as long as you don't go overboard with the amount, it doesn't stay greasy or leave stickiness behind. Also, you only need a tiny bit because it goes a long way. I passed my initial patch tests, and it continues to work well for me. So because it's winter and the heat is on all the time, I am dry as all get out. This works amazingly on my face, but I've been using any excess for my super dried-out patches (elbows, ankles, etc). And as a barrier cream, it's been doing a great job at that. There is a mild scent, which is pleasant and clean. There are a lot of floral extracts in it. It's not overpowering at all, but I'd say this is the only reason I might not recommend this cream to someone (if they're very sensitive to scent or sensitive to certain ingredients). But yeah, I was really impressed with this cream. I've never tried this brand before, and I've tried a lot of PDRN creams in the past year. This is probably one of my favorites because my skin has reacted really well to it, and it's just pleasant to use.

This is a very nice Matcha + PDRN K-cream for beauty. They claim that it treats redness, dark spots, ageing and a whole bunch of other face skin concerns. My wife swears by it, so I can't argue with that claim. I do think they should change their motto, which currently reads 'Born to be Shine' with a better one though. The product was very well packaged in a nice green box, with a nice green bottle to match. The bottle is made of plastic but looks good. The cream itself is very good. You just rub it in until it is absorbed by the skin. It gets completely absorbed, leaving hydrated skin which does not feel oily, and a subtle pleasant smell which is typical of a lot of these creams. I love a lot of these creams. My wife is very happy that it leaves the skin very soft and glowing for a long time after applying. At a discounted price of $33.15 for the 100g bottle, it is reasonable given its functionality.
This VELVENTE 'Matcha PDRN Calming Renewa Day Cream & Overnight Mask' has such a lovely feel on my skin. It is rich and buttery, with almost a cooling soothing feel, when I rub into my parched middle-aged skin at night especially. love this cream on my skin. It works into a soothing lather once water is added, and it leaves my skin feeling extremely moisture I need there. (Thus the 'mask' aspect of this cream, it isn't a 'skin mask' as I think of removable skin masks, it's just a richer cream that you apply generously and allow it to do its work overnight. I love the 'matcha' of this product, the scent on it is almost like and maybe a slight fruity note as well. It is mild, not heavily scented. Very pleasant to use this cream and as I said, the calming moisturizing feel on my skin is the true highlight for me.
This VELVENTE Matcha PDRN Calming Renewa Day Cream & Overnight Mask for Redness, Acne-Prone Skin, Dark Spot Brighten Early Aging Korean 2 in 1 Cream Hydrating Barrier Support Cream for Sensitive Skin 100g is lovely! It feels very thick when you first apply it, but doesn't leave that gross heavy feeling when it absorbs in. You do actually need to gentle massage this in, no slap on and go, but it doesn't take more than 30 seconds. It has a really nice very light green tea scent that adds a nice experience to applying the lotion. My sensitive, redness prone skin is also very happy with this. No irritation or breakouts. My skin stays soft and hydrated throughout the day. Good stuff all around. I also really like that the pull tab on the dust cover is a little bit bigger and diamond shaped. Makes it much easier to grab the little tiny ones on so many dust covers.
If you're using prescription tretinoin and dealing with the inevitable dryness and flakiness that comes with it, this cream is a lifesaver. I'd battling extremely dry, dull skin for weeks despite layering multiple serums and hydrating creams. I even stopped washing my face in the mornings trying to preserve whatever moisture I could. Nothing was working - until this. After just one night of using this cream, I could see a visible difference in my skin. The dullness has gone and my face actually looked healthy again. I've been using it both morning and night since then, and I'm genuinely amazed at how quickly it worked. The cream itself is quite thick, so a little goes a long way - one jar should last you a while. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant, not overpowering at all. My skin feels incredibly soft, and I've noticed that the few blemishes I had cleared up as well. What really impressed me is that despite being so intensely moisturizing, it wears beautifully under makeup. Some heavy creams make foundation look cakey or slide around, but this one doesn't. I think I've used this VELVENTE Matcha PDRN Korean Anti-Aging Firming Moisturizer Cream almost every night and day since I received it, I just love that much! It's hydrating, doesn't clog my pores and smells nice too! It's a thicker cream, but kind of a whipped texture, so it doesn't feel heavy or oppressive on my skin. It plumps it up nicely, and helps make my fine lines less noticeable too. I usually use a lighter lotion first, then seal things in with this one on top. So far, that's working well for me. And after a couple week's worth of use, my skin is smoother, plumper, and less red in the cheeks as well. I definitely recommend it, but especially when used along with the matching toner pads and face wash too!
The packaging looks cool, modern and fun. The actual cream though? Tbh this is up there with some of the absolute finest and most luxurious (overpriced lol), brands I've tried. And this is coming from someone who's tested hundreds as well as worked with a few of them. This stuff is incredible. It's rich, smooth, smells wonderful (just a tad too strong for me though, I could do without all the scent but it's still not overpowering at all), doesn't irritate me at all and I need the smallest, tiniest drop because it smears so well and soaks so deep into the skin. This is going to last YEARS! And it's a two pack?? This is an absolute steal! It also works, which is a huge plus of course. Helps ease redness, soften skin, fill in lines and has to be one of the best ever. This is what skincare should be. 10/10
I have oily skin and strip it down regularly with cleansers, aggressively; I then have to put back moisture. For me, this is just too rich and heavy, and leaves a film like feeling. If you have dry skin this is exactly what you want, it describes itself as such in the title with 'rich formula'. Reviewing it for what it is, the $40 price tag for a two pack means it's more like $20 a pop which for the amount is not bargain brand but not break-the-bank. The two should get you through daily use for about 10 months to a year. There is a smell though not especially strong to me; be aware of this if sensitive to such things, however. The ingredients are many and described, generally ones like PDRN and trhalose for helping your skin barrier. I could see this being very useful if you have over-stripped your skin, or if your skin type is changing from oily to combo or drying out a bit (teenagers getting out of puberty, those reaching middle age) and you'd keep your old habits. Also should be excellent for people using retinol or tret who need that restoration.

The cream itself is white with a typical creamy texture and is not too firm, which makes it easy to distribute on my skin. It has a great fresh scent that is not overpowering, but is very appealing. The product absorbs quickly into my skin and doesn't leave behind any residues or stickiness. It's pretty lightweight and ideal for summer, while still providing a reasonable amount of hydration. This is an ultra luxury Korean moisturizing cream. It comes in a large size tub, and can be also purchased in a twin pack. This allows you to put it on both your body and your face, without running out quickly. The firming textures can also be appreciated on the upper arms, neck, and shoulder areas on many of us. There's a very light Matcha scent to it and a very slight greenish tint. As I was testing it out, I really appreciated the thick creaminess. The texture is quite substantial, yet it absorbed into my skin quickly. If you're trying to rescue damaged skin, this would be a good choice. I consider it good value for a high-quality cream.
I really enjoy this moisturizer. I love this brand and this line is amazing for my combo skin. So far pads are my favorite but this moisturizer is also really good. I use it as part of my morning skincare routine after cleansing and toning my face and applying my serum. I think it can be used straight after toner in between toner and moisturizer. It works great. It feels soothing and hydrating and doesn't leave greasy or sticky feeling and it leaves your skin looking great for morning skincare because I can go on and apply my sunscreen without waiting. The scent is mild and feels very natural and pleasant but it doesn't linger at all so even people who dislike scents in skincare would be able to use this. The only maybe is too many ingredients and some of them are not natural (and I don't know some of them at all) but the combo works great for me, doesn't make my skin irritated so I do t mind it. Comes with stated expiration dates and feels well presented and safe to be used.
This matcha cream works great! Honestly! My old age brown spots are disappearing!!! No joke! Some of peeps are lying if you say it doesn't work! You need to use it every day and before bed!
Okay I have to write this because I genuinely didn't expect it to work. I'm 47, and I've had this one stubborn age spot on my left cheek for probably 15 years. I've tried retinol (irritated my skin), vitamin C (nothing), niacinamide serums (barely a dent), and one of those $100 dark spot correctors from premium shops (waste of money). After 3 weeks of using this cream morning and night, the spot is visibly lighter. Like, my husband noticed. That never happens. What I've seen so far: Age spot on cheek visibly faded (this alone earned 5 stars). Skin feels plumper, especially in the morning after using it as an overnight mask. No irritation even though I have sensitive skin that reacts to retinol. Layers under makeup without pilling (huge for me). Genuinely non-greasy, doesn't sit on top of my skin like heavier creams. The texture is rich but sinks in fast. Not sticky. I've been using it as a regular day cream and then a thicker layer 2-3 nights a week as an overnight mask, which is what the brand recommends. The ingredient list is impressive too. It has PDRN, White Truffle, Jeju Matcha, Shea Butter, plus a bunch of botanicals. 17 actives apparently. I don't know all the science but I can see it working on my face. Would I buy again? 100%. In fact I already ordered the toner pads to go with it. Best for: mature skin, dark spots, dryness, anti-aging, sensitive skin that can't tolerate retinol. Won't work for: if you want overnight miracle results (this took me about 3 weeks to see anything). Really glad I gave this a chance.
